The construction is very simple: with two standard screws »Frame Your Records« can be put on the wall. Between 13 and 25 records fit in this shelf, depending on the sleeve design and grammage of the record.

Record Jack Black, White & Birch
Our program is expanded by our new product series “Record Jack” with the popular colours white, black and nature. The records are made of multiplex and perfectly integrate into the room. Not every record cover and colour of a shelf necessarily match. You are welcome to combine different shelves and try out! You are also free to combine the colours of the spacers and frames on request. Just write us an email.
Our “Birch”- design is made of real copper pipes. The pipes run though the natural corrosion process that enables the formation of a patina within the next years and makes the product even more lively.
Jimmy CageThe beginning of our product series was made by introducing Jimmy Cage in the summer of 2015. The coloured MDF gives Jimmy an anthricite- black surface full of character.
Special EditionsThis heading stands for individual constructions where the manufacturing costs are less important. The shelf shown has a closed box made of walnut veneer for the records. A handmade frame was covered with gold leaf and seems like a classic picture frame from the front. Please inform yourself about the delivery times beforehand.

Hey!blau Labs e.K. is a creative labatory based in Cologne, Germany. We develop products and campaigns in cooperation with different partners and flexible teams. The starting point of our work are thoughts as we all know them: “Is there actually a…“ or “One would have to…“
During the realisation process of this product the first thought was our passion for vinyl records and the symbiosis between music and record covers. At the same time we had a requirement to store vinyl records. Thus the idea was born to build a removable picture frame for vinyl records that would in addition function as an LP rack.
Handicraft plays an important role during the production. To keep the quality at the highest level we produce, check and pack our products in Cologne.
The materials and the product designs were chosen by making sure to have a justifiable proportion of ecological footprint and service life.
